Liver Health
What does this test check?
This test assesses liver inflammation, bile flow, and protein production. The liver plays a key role in detoxification, digestion, and metabolism.
What is Measured?
ALT, AST, ALP, Bilirubin, Albumin
This is measured if you are experiencing ongoing abdominal discomfort or bloating, persistent fatigue, or generally low energy levels. It is also commonly used to monitor the effects of alcohol intake, assess liver health in people with raised cholesterol or wider metabolic concerns, and to ensure medications are not adversely affecting the liver. In addition, it forms part of routine health screening and can help investigate unexplained or previously abnormal blood test results.
Kidney Health
A kidney function test is often requested to assess how well the kidneys are filtering waste products from the blood and maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance. It may be helpful for people with high blood pressure, diabetes, or a family history of kidney disease, as well as those experiencing symptoms such as swelling, changes in urination, or ongoing fatigue. It is also commonly used as part of routine health screening, to monitor the effects of certain medications, and to provide a baseline for long term health monitoring.
We test eGFR, Creatinine, Calcium, Phosphate, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, Urea.
Both tests are offered separately or combined.
Liver alone £24. Kidney alone is £24, or together for £41.50
