Come to the clinic
No fasting needed. Drink plenty of water beforehand. The sample takes a few minutes.
Get your results
Most results come back the next working day, by email, with a clinician summary in plain English. Anything urgent, we phone you the same day.

About the test
When should I have it?
Ideally before your first injection, then again while you are taking it. We can suggest the timing based on your dose and how you feel.
Does it matter which injection I take?
No. The test is the same for semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic), tirzepatide (Mounjaro) and newer GLP-1 medicines.
I have already started. Is it too late?
No. A check now still shows how you are doing, and gives you a baseline for next time.
Do I need to fast?
No. Eat and drink normally, and drink plenty of water.
