Our blood test price list shows all current all-inclusive prices there are no hidden extras. Every price includes the appointment, blood draw, laboratory processing, and your results by email with a clinical commentary.

A £25 appointment fee is collected at the time of booking to secure your slot. The remaining balance is paid in clinic before your blood draw.

All prices are all-inclusive. Each price covers the appointment, phlebotomy, laboratory processing at our UKAS-accredited lab partner, and your results with clinical commentary. Nothing is added at checkout. All appointments must be booked in advance — we do not accept walk-ins.

Standalone Tests

Individual tests for when you know exactly what you need. These are our best-value single-marker options, ideal for monitoring a known condition, satisfying a clinical requirement, or topping up a recent panel. All prices are all-inclusive.

Fasting tests. Lipid Profile is best following a 10–12 hour fast. Water is fine. If you are unsure whether your test requires fasting, contact us before booking.

Post-Bariatric Surgery

Structured monitoring panels for patients who have undergone bariatric surgery. Designed to detect the nutritional deficiencies that commonly develop following gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, or gastric band surgery.

Why monitoring matters. Bariatric surgery significantly changes how your body absorbs nutrients. Regular blood testing helps detect deficiencies early, before symptoms develop, and allows you to adjust supplementation accordingly.

How it works

Every blood test at Tamar Health follows the same straightforward process.

Step 1 — Book online. Choose your test and book your appointment. A £25 deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure your slot (£23 for urine-only tests).
Step 2 — Attend your appointment. Come to our Plymouth clinic at your booked time. Pay the balance in clinic before your blood draw. Most draws take 5–10 minutes.
Step 3 — Receive your results. Your sample is sent to our UKAS-accredited laboratory partner by tracked post. Most results are returned the next working day. We email your results with a clinical commentary explaining what they mean.
All appointments must be booked in advance. We do not accept walk-in appointments. Same-week bookings are usually available.
