We cannot always see you today, but we can usually see you within 2 working days. You see Tim Needham, an Advanced Practitioner with over 25 years in emergency, urgent and primary care. He can assess, diagnose, prescribe and refer.
We run clinics two to three days a week and slots are limited, so book early. If you are getting worse quickly, call 999 or go to A&E.

This is the full consultation fee. The only extras are a prescription or blood tests, if you need them.

Booking
How quickly can I be seen?
We run clinics two to three days a week. Most people are seen within 2 working days of booking, depending on availability. Book as soon as you can, rather than waiting to see if things improve.
What if I need to be seen today?
We cannot promise a same-day appointment, and we are not an emergency service. If it cannot wait, call NHS 111 or go to an urgent treatment centre. If it is serious, call 999.
What should I bring?
Photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence. We need to see it at every visit. A list of your medicines helps too.
Your care
Is an Advanced Practitioner a doctor?
No. Advanced Practitioners are not doctors. They are senior clinicians with a wide range of training and experience. In this setting, Tim can assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe for most new illnesses, and refer you on if you need it. He works within a CQC-registered clinic.
Will I get a prescription if I need one?
Yes. It is sent digitally straight away, either to a pharmacy for you to collect or to a pharmacy that posts your medicine to you. Postage costs extra. We do not issue paper prescriptions. There is a £5 admin charge for each prescription.
What if I need blood tests?
We can take them in the same appointment. The usual £25 blood draw fee is waived, so you only pay for the tests. Test prices are on our price list.
Will my NHS GP know I have been seen?
Only if you want them to. With your consent, we send a summary to your GP if we have an email address for your surgery. Your GP cannot access the records we hold about you.
