Haematology & B12 Testing

Getting B12 injections at a salon or clinic? A blood test tells you whether you’re actually deficient before you start. Book B12 or folate on their own, together as a pack, or with Intrinsic Factor Antibodies as a full pernicious anaemia work-up.

FolateSerum folate (vitamin B9) on its own, often tested alongside B12.£55
Vitamin B12 & Folate Pack Best valueB12 and folate together from one appointment, the best-value way to check both. Saves £25 vs booking separately.£85
Intrinsic Factor AntibodiesChecks for the antibody behind most cases of pernicious anaemia. Best done alongside or after a low B12 result. Turnaround 3-4 working days.£80
Pernicious Anaemia Work-Up Most completeB12, folate and Intrinsic Factor Antibodies together in one appointment, the full picture before committing to ongoing injections. Turnaround 3-4 working days. Saves £55 vs booking all three separately.£135
Turnaround. Intrinsic Factor Antibodies and the Pernicious Anaemia Work-Up take longer than most tests on this page, around 3-4 working days rather than next-day, because of the antibody assay.

See our full Haematology & B12 testing page for guidance on which option to choose.

Immunity & Occupational Health

Check your immunity status for peace of mind, to prove vaccination history for work, or before travelling. Each test uses a single blood sample and, for most tests, no fasting is required.
