Our Men’s Summer Sport Health Check is a straightforward private blood test at our Plymouth clinic, with results back the next working day in most cases.
Start with The Starting Line – £169
The Starting Line is our men’s health baseline and the best place to begin. For £169 all-inclusive it gives you a comprehensive picture in a single appointment:
Full blood count, liver & kidney health, full cholesterol/heart panel, blood sugar (HbA1c), iron stores (ferritin), inflammation marker, testosterone, prostate health (PSA), full thyroid panel, vitamin D, electrolytes.
Low iron, B12 or a quiet thyroid issue are the most common hidden reasons men feel flat, sluggish or slow to recover between sessions. The Starting Line checks all of it.
Going further: The Open and The Grand Slam
Training seriously this summer? Two upgrades add the markers that matter most when you’re pushing hard:
The Open – £199. Everything in The Starting Line, plus Creatine Kinase (CK), the key marker of muscle damage and recovery that rises with overtraining or injury risk.
The Grand Slam – £249. Our most thorough men’s option – everything in The Open, plus vitamin B12 and folate for energy and nerve health. Ideal for regular athletes or anyone with persistent fatigue who wants the most complete baseline.
Add a physical check for just £10. Bolt an in-clinic health assessment onto any package – blood pressure, weight, BMI, waist, resting heart rate and a lifestyle review – for a complete picture of body and bloods in one visit.
How it works
Book online with a £25 deposit to secure your slot; the balance is paid in clinic on the day. Please fast for 10-12 hours (water is fine) and avoid exercise the morning of your draw. All appointments are booked in advance. This is a blood test service and does not constitute a diagnosis – if you have specific health concerns, our clinical team is happy to help.
